Spotted a wedge-tailed eagle just sitting on a rock. It was so still, like it was taking everything in. I could hardly believe how big it was. Totally calm, just enjoying the view. I stood there for a while, not wanting to disturb it. Then, with a slow flap, it took off. Such a cool moment—totally unexpected.
