I spotted a tabby cat lounging on the pavement, totally focused on another cat getting treats nearby. It didn’t move, just watched, tail flicking now and then. The way it seemed so relaxed was almost contagious. I felt like I was sharing the moment with it. The other cat was really going for those treats, and the tabby just sat there, calm and patient, like it had all the time in the world.
