Sat on the grass and watched the silver gulls. They were scattered across the lawn, pecking at the ground. One juvenile was trying to figure out what to do. It flapped its wings, sort of clumsy. The adults hardly paid it any mind. The sun was warm, and everything felt still for a little while. Just me and the gulls, soaking up the peaceful vibe.
